What this site does today

JobRadar offers job browsing with a limited public preview and free beta access through Google or verified email sign-in. We do not accept job applications, payments, mailing-list subscriptions or uploaded profiles.

Your Google sign-in and account

When you sign in, Google provides your account identifier and verified email address so we can create and manage your beta account. We also store the display name and profile-image URL Google provides, when available, to identify your account in the header and account menu. Your browser loads that image from Google without sending the page address as a referrer; Google receives the image request and ordinary connection information. Missing profile information does not prevent sign-in. We do not receive your Google password or request access to your Gmail or Drive files. Google login tokens are verified and discarded, not retained as account data or used for advertising.

Necessary cookies keep you signed in and protect login and logout requests. Product sessions expire after seven days; signing out invalidates that session immediately. Login attempts expire after ten minutes. Expired records may remain until cleanup. This beta does not record a personal job-reading history or add advertising or analytics trackers.

Email registration and password reset

You can verify an email address and choose a password instead of using Google. We store the verified address and a password hash, not a readable copy of your password. Verification codes are stored as hashes in our account database, expire after ten minutes, and are bound to the browser that requested them. Resetting a password invalidates your existing product sign-in sessions.

Resend delivers verification and password-reset messages from accounts@pleasegivemeajob.com. It processes the recipient address, message contents and delivery information to provide this service. These are account messages, not marketing subscriptions. We do not add email tracking pixels or click-tracking links. Google and email sign-in are not automatically linked merely because their email addresses match; linking requires an explicit account action.

Website information

Cloudflare and the infrastructure used to serve this site may process ordinary request information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp, and security events. We do not add advertising trackers or analytics cookies to this site.

Google Drive access

A private, operator-only backup utility uses Google OAuth and the file-specific Google Drive permission commonly called drive.file. It creates and manages only the encrypted backup files that the utility places in the operator’s Drive. It is not intended to browse, read, modify, or delete unrelated Drive files.

This Google authorization is not offered to public users. Google access tokens are used only for backup continuity, are not sold, and are not shared for advertising. The operator may revoke access through the security settings of the connected Google Account.

Retention and security

We retain account information to operate your account. Contact privacy@pleasegivemeajob.com to request deletion or ask about your information. Recovery backups may retain earlier copies until the backup-retention cycle removes them.

Encrypted backup files are retained for operational recovery and removed under the project’s backup-retention process. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when the product changes how it handles information. The effective date above identifies this version.
